Cover Letter

  • I ended up choosing a very vague job application and I made a very vague cover letter so I changed it to a job application that the police department was looking for for a administrative assistant position

Dear Hiring Team,

I’m applying for your position of Administrative Assistant that I found through Indeed and believe I’d be a perfect candidate for the job.

As someone who’s had years of experience in roles that require organization, knowledge and experience using Google and Microsoft applications as well as having proficient literacy skills,  office assistance is no problem for me.

I’ve been in roles that require working with others, working independently as well as making decisions independently that can affect the company as a whole. I’m great at time management and multitasking, so the need to be able to be at work on time and be able to handle many duties at once is exactly what I’m prepared for and expecting.

I have years of experience in the customer service field which has given me the skills of answering a phone professionally and politely. This experience has also given me the experiences of being able to handle a chaotic environment that can require a fast paced mindset where the person needs to stay calm and multitask.

I saw in the job listing to expect and understand that this is a part time position that does not give benefits and that is exactly what I’m aware I’m applying for.

I meet all the qualifications that are listed in the job description as I am very well organized, great at multitasking, have office experience, familiarity, comfortability, and understanding of Microsoft and Google applications

I hope you take my application into great consideration and you can reach me at (978) 333 – 4455 or cstickney@une.edu.

Best wishes,

Cameron Stickney

I got feedback on how it was very good just vague so when I realized we’d be continuing with this I switched it to a job application I found for a police department administrative assistant so I could put together a better cover letter that had details
